Daily Itinerary DAY 2 — NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK, GIRAFFES & NAIROBI CULTURAL EXPERIENCE

Nairobi National Park → Giraffe Centre → Nairobi National Museum → Nairobi

Overnight: Nairobi

After an early breakfast, depart your hotel for Nairobi National Park, your first major wildlife experience in Kenya.

Located just outside the city Centre, Nairobi National Park provides a unique introduction to Kenya's wildlife, with the Nairobi skyline creating a distinctive backdrop to the savannah.

Enjoy an early morning game drive through the park, searching for wildlife including lion, black and white rhino, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, antelope and a variety of bird species. Wildlife sightings are naturally dependent on seasonal and daily conditions.

After the game drive, proceed to the Giraffe Centre, where you will learn about the conservation of the endangered Rothschild's giraffe and have the opportunity to observe these graceful animals at close range.

Continue to the Nairobi National Museum after lunch. The museum provides an excellent introduction to Kenya's history, culture, archaeology, art and natural heritage.

Return to your hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Today's Highlights

• Early morning Nairobi National Park game drive

• Wildlife viewing and photography

• Opportunity to see rhinos, lions, giraffes, zebras and buffalo

• Giraffe conservation experience at the Giraffe Centre

• Kenyan history, culture and heritage at the Nairobi National Museum

From Kenya's Capital to the Great Rift Valley

Approximate drive: 2–3 hours excluding sightseeing stops

Overnight: Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and travel northwest toward the Great Rift Valley.

As the city disappears behind you, the landscape changes to rolling countryside, escarpments and expansive views.

Stop at a Great Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic views and photographs.

Continue to Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya's most scenic freshwater lakes.

After lunch and check-in, enjoy a boat safari on Lake Naivasha. The excursion offers opportunities to observe hippos, African fish eagles and other birdlife while enjoying the tranquil surroundings.

Subject to timing and availability, a guided walk on Crescent Island can be included as an optional experience. The island is known for its giraffes, zebras, antelopes and other wildlife.

Return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxed evening.

Daily Itinerary DAY 4 — LAKE NAIVASHA → NAROK → MAASAI MARA

Entering Kenya's Legendary Safari Country

Approximate drive: 5–6 hours excluding stops

Overnight: Maasai Mara

After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and continue southwest toward the Maasai Mara.

The journey takes you through the Great Rift Valley region and toward Narok, an important gateway to the Maasai Mara and an area strongly associated with Maasai culture.

Continue toward the reserve.

As you approach the Maasai Mara, the landscape gradually transforms into vast open grasslands — the classic African safari scenery many first-time travelers imagine.

Enter the Maasai Mara and begin your first game drive, allowing you to experience the reserve even before reaching your accommodation.

Watch for elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, wildebeest, antelopes and predators.

Arrive at your lodge or camp, check in and relax.

Today's experience:

• Scenic countryside

• Narok

• African savannah landscapes

Daily Itinerary DAY 5 — FULL-DAY MAASAI MARA SAFARI

Wildlife, Photography & Maasai Culture

Overnight: Maasai Mara

This is the centerpiece of the safari.

Rise early and depart for a morning game drive when wildlife activity is generally high and the morning light is excellent for photography.

Explore the Maasai Mara's extensive grasslands in search of the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino — as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and numerous antelope species.

Enjoy breakfast or a picnic lunch in a designated area before continuing your exploration.

Your experienced safari guide will adapt the game-drive route according to wildlife sightings, seasonal conditions and the interests of the travelers.

Return to your lodge in the late afternoon for some time to relax.

In the evening, an optional Maasai cultural experience can be arranged, offering an opportunity to learn about traditional Maasai life, beadwork, livestock, community traditions and contemporary Maasai culture.

Return to the lodge for dinner.

Today's experience:

• Full-day Maasai Mara game drive

• Big Five viewing opportunities

• Predator viewing

• Wildlife photography

• Optional Maasai cultural experience

Daily Itinerary DAY 6 — MAASAI MARA → AMBOSELI

From the Maasai Mara to the Foot of Mount Kilimanjaro

Approximate drive: 7–9 hours by road, depending on road conditions and stops

Overnight: Amboseli

After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and begin the journey toward southern Kenya and Amboseli.

This is the longest road-transfer day of the itinerary. Rather than presenting it as another sightseeing-heavy day, the schedule allows travelers to enjoy the changing Kenyan landscape while moving between two very different safari ecosystems.

Travel through rural Kenya with a lunch stop en route before continuing toward Amboseli.

Arrive in the Amboseli area in the late afternoon and check into your lodge.

If time, weather and wildlife conditions permit, enjoy a short introductory game drive.

Amboseli offers a dramatic contrast to the Maasai Mara, with its open plains, wetlands, large elephant herds and spectacular views toward Mount Kilimanjaro.

Today's experience:

• Scenic cross-country journey

• Changing Kenyan landscapes

• Amboseli introduction

• First opportunity for Kilimanjaro views

Elephants, Wildlife & Mount Kilimanjaro

Approximate road journey to Nairobi: 4–5 hours after the safari

Overnight: Nairobi

Wake early for your final major game drive in Amboseli National Park.

The early morning is particularly rewarding for photography. When weather conditions are favorable, Mount Kilimanjaro may appear dramatically above the Amboseli plains.

Explore the park in search of its famous elephant herds and other wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, hippos and antelopes.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and check out.

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive toward Nairobi.

Arrive in Nairobi later in the afternoon and check into your hotel.

The evening is free to relax after the safari or enjoy an optional farewell dinner.

• Early morning game drive

• Elephant viewing
